first things first- planning a family session can be hella stressful. there's choosing outfits, convincing your partner to cooperate, wondering if your kids will behave, and ultimately... hoping the photographer you hire will be able to make something out of your beautiful mess.
that's where I come in!
"photographer" is just one of the many hats I wear. I am also a mother of four crazy children and have worked in a preschool classroom for five years. interacting with children is second nature to me. this allows you to relax during our session. this also makes me pretty much THE expert on coaxing smiles from your precious little humans!

As a mother, I recognize that these images will serve an important purpose in your life. Our babies just don't stay little for long enough. I document all the little fingers and all the little toes. I document the smiles, the fuzzy baby hair, and everything in between to ensure you will remember what it was like to have them always in your arms.

preserving your family exactly how you imagine is most important to me. I have created multiple session styles to create a tailored experience.
I do not have many props but will happily incorporate any you may wish to use.
location-wise, placing your family outdoors is ideal. I love wide open spaces with lots of natural light.
my photography style consists of soft light and creamy skin texture. in order to achieve that, sessions are scheduled late in the afternoon.
